Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Flutter Engineer to build and scale production-grade Flutter applications. This role will involve working on a cutting-edge platform, solving complex problems, and collaborating with a team to deliver exceptional user experiences

Key Responsibilities
Mobile App Development: Build, test, and deploy high-quality Flutter applications for production environments
Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
CI/CD Knowledge: Familiar with continuous integration and delivery pipelines for automated testing and deployments using tools like Jenkins and Gitlab
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Previous experience working closely with design, product, and DevOps teams to define, design, and implement innovative features. Bonus points for owning responsibility in these functions (i.e. developing wireframes, prioritizing a product roadmap)
Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows, handling issues like merge conflicts, branch management, etc.
Clear Written Communication: Write detailed technical documentation to streamline code reviews, refactoring, and onboarding colleagues to your tech stack
Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while following our code patterns
Optimization: Ensure performance, reliability, and responsiveness across platforms using modern monitoring and scalability tools like New Relic and Grafana

Qualifications
Experience: 2-3 years of professional mobile software development experience, focusing on Flutter, and 5-8 years of professional software development experience
Technical Expertise: Demonstrated success in building and shipping production-grade Flutter applications
Problem Solving: A creative, independent thinker who thrives in dynamic environments
Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
Location: The position will require the candidate to be located near Chicago, IL, or willing to relocate to Chicago (relocation bonuses available). This is mandatory, and candidates should state that they reside near Chicago or are open to relocation
