Imagine your day starting on first shift with a quick huddle, a fresh stack of prints, and a clear build plan. As a hands-on fabrication welder on a contract-to-permanent path, you’ll turn raw material into precise assemblies that become core components of industrial machinery. Steady hours and long-term potential await the right craftsperson.

A Day in the Shop

You’ll pull engineering drawings, stage material, and fixture parts before dialing in parameters on MIG and TIG welders. With each assembly, you’ll verify measurements, keep production moving, and leave the workspace better than you found it—every single time.

What You'll Take On

• Set up, fixture, and weld parts into complete assemblies based on engineering drawings
• Perform hands-on welding and fabrication in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
• Inspect welds and assemblies for quality and compliance to print requirements
• Follow routing instructions and move parts through staging and work centers
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized area
• Adhere to safety policies and safe work practices
• Collaborate with your team and support daily production priorities
• Drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

• Hands-on welding experience in fabrication or manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/prints
• Experience setting up and welding parts into assemblies
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
• Sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to speak, read, and write English

Preferred

• Background welding or fabricating components for industrial machinery or custom equipment
• Familiarity with production routing or shop documentation systems
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience supporting shop standards, quality initiatives, or process improvements
