Travel Registered Nurse - ER ( Nights)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - ER for a 13-week travel assignment i n Herrin, IL 62948 .

Contract Details

• Night shift

• Contract: 13 weeks
• Location: Herrin, IL 62948
• Hourly Pay: $ 30.50
• Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
• Weekly Total Pay: $2069.50
• EMR Used: EPIC

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing professional nursing care for SIH patients.
• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Establish a compassionate environment to provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patient and families
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
• Provide in health teaching and counseling to promote, attain, and maintain the optimum health level of patients
• Demonstrate ability to use clinical judgment in conjunction with critical thinking to recognize, act upon, and report changes in patient condition.
• Complete, accurate and timely documentation in patient medical record
• Provide input the development of policies and procedures to support patient safety and quality of care
• Supervision and delegation responsibilities of licensed practical nurse and/or unlicensed assistant personnel
• Serve as an advocate for the patient by communicating and collaborating with other health service professionals
• Timely completion of required education, competencies, and licensures.
• Float to other nursing units within competency level

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1-year minimum experience working in ED. We have had agency in the past with less than one year experience and they were not effective.
• Must have Associate, Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Nursing
• Must have Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS Card required
• Must obtain Current ACLS card & PALS card within 6 months of hire
• TNCC (within 1 year of hire or residency graduation) desired
• ECRN (within 24 months of hire of residency graduation) desired
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

• Drug screen and background check (facility required)
• Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
