Job Title: Assembler
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented assembler who is comfortable being on their feet for the entirety of the day. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work collaboratively with others and possess a willingness to be cross-trained in various areas.

Responsibilities

• Documenting received parts in the receiving area.
• Performing a factory reset by manually pressing a button.
• Conducting an automatic test by plugging in up to 32 units to determine what needs to be repaired.
• Executing a Wi-Fi test.
• Carrying out an elevated test to assess temperature effects.
• Completing cosmetic cleaning and cosmetic repair tasks.
• Performing in-process quality control (IPQC).
• Assembling kits for shipment.
• Building pallets for packaging AT&T kits.
• Preparing shipments.
• Scanning parts at every step of the process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Punctuality.
• Experience with assembly, packing, and repair.
• Proficiency in using test equipment, RF scanner, computer, blueprint reading, power tools.
• General labor skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
