Bookkeeper

Role: Bookkeeper

Location: Mount Prospect, IL

Compensation: $28/hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process high-volume accounts payable transactions (primary responsibility)
• Research, resolve, and execute billing corrections
• Conduct collections outreach and follow up on outstanding receivables
• Perform accurate data entry and transaction coding within financial systems
• Ensure timely and precise recording of financial activity

Role Scope

• Execution-focused, transactional accounting role
• High-volume processing environment requiring strong attention to detail
• Not a strategic or financial planning-focused position

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

• QuickBooks Online proficiency
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to commute within 20–25 minutes of Mount Prospect, IL
• Willingness to work onsite 5 days per week at the start
• Detail-oriented mindset with comfort in repetitive, process-driven tasks
