Survey Crew Chief (Rosemont)

Mackie Consultants, a leading consultant in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying located in Rosemont, Illinois, has an immediate opening for a Survey Crew Chief with 5+ years of experience. Mackie's field surveyors utilize cutting edge technology via laser scanning, robotics, GPS systems, and drone technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Committed to perform field work and lead a Survey Instrument Person for topographic surveys, subdivision development, IDOT & Tollway projects, heavy highway designs, bridge construction, architectural developments, large topographic surveys, scanning and construction layout.
• Exposure to the principle and practices of accurate surveying applied to innovative robotic technology, laser scanning, GIS systems, leveling, field notes, and data collection.

Key Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ Years of relevant survey field experience.
• Flourishes well in a cooperative team environment.
• Enthusiastic positive attitude, with clear communication skills.
• Punctual and responsible.
• Willing to work outdoors on construction related projects.
• Have reliable transportation.
