Reporting to the Sr Director, BBG & Enterprise Technology Strategy, this role supports the vision and strategy for Brunswick Boat Group by analyzing strategic alternatives, evaluating options, making fact-based recommendations, and driving execution of key initiatives. The Director will collaborate with BBG division presidents and functional leaders on strategic planning, portfolio and technology optimization, financial and business analysis, and execution support. This role also plays a key part in the annual strategic planning process for Brunswick Boat Group. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions:- Partner with division leaders and functional teams on strategic planning and execution.
- Support portfolio and technology optimization, business analysis, and development activities.
- Contribute to cross-divisional projects and initiatives in areas such as technology, customer experience, and marketing.
- Assist in developing strategies for long-term growth and profitability improvement across products, technologies, customers, channels, and geographies.
- Support identification and evaluation of growth opportunities including M&A, partnerships, and joint ventures, including participation in due diligence and business case development.
- Conduct market analysis and provide insights on industry, competitive, and economic trends.
- Provide research-based recommendations to support program objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to special projects across functional areas such as strategic marketing, business planning, HR, finance, and new product concept assessments.
- Strong strategic mindset and analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes through partnership and alignment.
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in strategy, business development, or related roles within consumer products, industrial, or manufacturing organizations.
- Solid financial and business acumen with knowledge of P&L drivers.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
