AUTO MECHANIC / AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN — CHICAGO, IL
A sharp, highenergy shop in Chicago is looking for a technician who likes their workday with a little personality. Not chaos — just the fun kind of busy where the team jokes around, the bays stay full, and the customers occasionally describe a noise using interpretive sound effects that deserve an award.
The shop sees a steady flow of clean, latemodel vehicles, loyal regulars, and commuters who just want their car to survive another winter. It’s the kind of place where the coffee is strong, the workflow is smooth, and the day moves fast because everyone actually knows what they’re doing.
What You’ll Be Doing- Accurate diagnostics with updated tools and equipment
- Repairs on domestic & import vehicles
- Maintenance, brakes, suspension, electrical, and engine work
- Keeping customers safe and their vehicles reliable
- Staying consistently busy in a wellmanaged shop
- Experience as an Automotive Technician, Auto Mechanic, or ASE Tech
- Ability to diagnose and repair modern vehicles accurately
- Pride in quality workmanship
- A teamfocused, professional attitude
- Certifications are great, but not required
- Strong pay based on experience & skill
