Legal Al Adoption Counsel - RibbitZ

Our client RibbitZ is hiring a Legal Al Adoption Counsel in Chicago.

We are recruiting for a Legal Al Adoption Counsel to help drive the responsible, practical use of generative Al across a national law firm's practices.

This role sits within the Client & Innovation function and works closely with attorneys, practice leaders, IT, professional development, training, research, marketing, and business development teams. The focus is turning Al strategy into real workflows, practical training, and measurable value for attorneys and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Al Adoption & Change Management

Drive adoption of firm-approved generative Al platforms across multiple practice groups.

Partner with attorneys and business leaders to identify practical Al use cases.

Develop implementation strategies that increase adoption and improve legal workflows.

Support Al pilot programs and help scale successful initiatives across the firm.

Training & Education

Design and deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions.

Coach attorneys and legal professionals on integrating Al into their daily work.

Create practical learning materials including:

Playbooks

Best practice guides

Checklists

FAQs

Workflow documentation

Internal knowledge resources

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Hands-on experience using legal generative Al tools.

Experience in one or more of the following:

Legal Innovation

Practice Management

Legal Technology

Professional Development

Strong understanding of law firm operations, matter management, staffing, and billing.

Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption without direct authority.

Assist with product rollouts and vendor-led training.

Monitor adoption metrics, user feedback, and business impact.

Recommend workflow improvements based on attorney feedback and usage trends.

Preferred

Experience practicing law within a law firm or corporate legal department.

Experience designing training programs for legal professionals.

Familiarity with change management methodologies.

Ability to explain Al concepts in clear, practical language.

Experience supporting enterprise technology implementations.
