Job Summary

Assist and support the securing of the County's technology supply chain. Escalate to others for complex situations, resolutions, and policies. Develop a plan for managing cybersecurity supply chain risks associated with the acquisition, integration, operations and maintenance (O&M), and disposal for all information technology (IT) or related systems or services. Help to establish agreements and procedures with entities involved in the supply chain. Assess and review the cybersecurity supply chain-related risks associated with suppliers or contractors. Conduct cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) risk assessments of supplier companies. Keep stakeholders informed of the most up-to-date information regarding cybersecurity SCRM best practices and any relevant current Government policies, guidance, memorandums, or strategies that might affect the Cybersecurity SCRM program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher and
  • Two (2) years of cybersecurity supply chain in Information Technology (IT) networking or security settings or directly related experience or
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance is required.


This position is considered a safety-sensitive position. Candidates who are selected to fill safety-sensitive positions must pass a required drug test as part of the pre-employment background check process.

  • Degrees awarded outside of the United States with the exception of those awarded in one of the United States territories and Canada, must be credentialed by the World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or a National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES) member organization.


Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity SCRM (Supply Chain Risk Management) principles and ability to influence others to make appropriate risk decisions based on the probability and impact of risk.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity SCRM security theory, technologies, policies, best practices, and Government regulations.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to document requirements, plans, reports, and other relevant cybersecurity SCRM related requirements.
  • Ability to travel at a moderate to extensive level to work assignments throughout the County.
  • Ability to provide moderate-level insight, advice and expertise to other professionals, management, and external contacts in an assigned functional area.
  • Ability to operate as a team player and communicate specialized knowledge team members, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of moderately complex principles and practices for a specialized area of focus.


Physical Requirements:

Sedentary Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Salary: $100,031-$110,420 yearly

  • This position requires successful completion of post-offer tests, which may include a background check, drug screen and medical examination.
