Toolmaker Machinist Snap Shot

• Flexible Start Times: 5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, or 8:00 AM

As a Tool Maker, you will:

• Plan, construct, modify, and repair parts and fixtures with precision.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines, including EDM equipment.
• Troubleshoot tools, conduct tryouts, and recommend improvements.
• Work with engineering drawings and software to develop models and prototypes.
• Use precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to suggest design enhancements.

What We’re Looking For :

• Experience :
  • 6+ years of manual machining experience in a job shop or machine shop.
  • Expertise in manual milling, boring, drilling, tapping, turning, and threading.
  • Someone who can jump in right away and hit the ground running in tool making
• Skills :
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic trigonometry.
  • Skilled in using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a written and practical Tool Maker test.
