Pastor
Seeking a full-time pastor with strong knowledge of the Bible and skilled in biblical doctrine teaching according to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 who will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and provide pastoral care to the membership and lead by following the guidelines of I Timothy 3:1-7. Some pastoral experience is preferred. Pastor’s main responsibility is to the Sunday morning and evening worship and Wednesday night Bible study.
Calvary Baptist Church sits in the heart of the city owning 3/4 a city block with room to grow and expand; is a county seat town with a population of about 14,000; and an average weekly attendance of 50. People travel to Effingham to work, shop, and seek healthcare needs.
