Trusts & Estates Associate - AM LAW 100 (Chicago)
I am working with a top‑tier, nationally recognized law firm that is looking to hire a Trusts & Estates Associate to join its highly regarded private client practice in Chicago .
This opportunity is ideal for an associate seeking hands‑on estate planning experience , direct client interaction, and exposure to a broad range of sophisticated Trusts & Estates matters.
The Role
The associate will work on a wide variety of Trusts & Estates transactions, including:
- Estate planning for high‑net‑worth individuals and families
- Trust and wealth‑transfer planning
- Estate and gift tax–related matters
- Direct interaction with clients and opposing counsel
Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of Trusts & Estates experience , with a focus on estate planning
- Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong academic credentials
- A background in estate and gift taxation strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Market‑leading compensation , with a base salary range of $230,000–$280,000 , depending on experience
