MANUAL MACHINIST A family-owned company, Dynomax designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles since 1986. We are seeking an experiencedManual Machinistto join our 1stShiftTool Room team. Manual Machinist Job Responsibilities: TheManual Machinistwill manufacture components for high precision injection mold tools and custom automation. This includes analyzing specifications, setting up and operating machine tools, and fitting and assembling parts to make cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges and hand tools. Visualize and compute dimensions and tolerances of assemblies based on specifications Study blueprints or specifications and use GDT to plan sequences of operations for the manufacturing of tools, dies, jigs and molds Perform machining operations and set-up on tool room equipment such as milling equipment and surface grinders Verify dimensions, alignments, smoothness and clearances of finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators and microscopes Select metals to be used from a range of metals and alloys Manual Machinist Job Requirements: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance Knowledge of tool making techniques and methods Ability to set up and operate Surface Grinder and Manual Mill Ability to work within tolerances of +/-.0002 on a daily basis Ability to work from drawings, verbal instructions, and specifications to produce precision parts Ability to use precision measuring equipment including a microscope Ability to follow all safe work practices and wear PPE as necessary Benefits Include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance 401(k) Plan with a generous Company match Paid holidays, vacation days, PTO days Optional FSA and Identity Theft Protection Optional Short Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, and Supplemental Life Insurance Discretionary annual bonus Manufacture a great career with Dynomax!
