Junior Graphic Designer

Wow Bao is hiring a Junior Graphic Designer! The Junior Graphic Designer at Wow Bao will support the creation of bold, fun, and on-brand visuals across packaging, marketing, digital, and in-store assets. This role works closely with Marketing & Design to bring ideas to life while maintaining brand consistency and quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow their design skills in a fast-paced, CPG environment. This position offers hands-on experience with a nationally growing brand rooted in creativity and innovation.

This position will report directly to the VP of Marketing and requires 5 days a week on-site in Chicago, Illinois.

Requirements

• Support the design and production of on-brand creative assets across packaging, digital marketing, social media, trade shows, in-store materials, and presentations
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to execute concepts from brief through final delivery
• Assist in maintaining brand guidelines across all design materials to ensure brand consistency and coherence in visual messaging
• Adapt existing designs for multiple formats, channels, and specs while maintaining brand consistency
• Prepare production-ready files and ensure accuracy, quality, and attention to detail
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Participate in creative reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently and thoughtfully
• Be available to assist and work during Wow Bao offsite events as needed (such as Lollapalooza)
• Other tasks and projects may be required as needed
• Perform calmly and effectively in a busy and fast-paced work environment

Additional Requirements:

• 1–2 years of professional graphic design experience working with a brand or at an agency
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign required). Understanding of Aftereffects, preferred
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to take directions, apply feedback, and continuously improve craft
• Highly organized with strong time-management skills and a sense or urgency
• A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful design, versatility, and attention to detail

The salary for this position is between $55,000 to $60,000 annually. The actual salary will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills and abilities as well as internal equity and market data. Wow Bao is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
