Automotive Service Technician
Automotive Technician – Full-Time Serra Champaign Savoy, IL Serra Champaign Automotive Group is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. We are a family-owned dealership offering long-term stability, career growth, and a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities * Perform automotive repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders * Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems * Test-drive vehicles and use electronic diagnostic equipment to identify issues * Communicate repair needs and time estimates clearly with Service Advisors * Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications * Maintain a clean, organized work area and protect customer vehicles Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience * Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures * Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair software * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Basic computer, reading, and math skills * Ability to learn new automotive technology and repair methods * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused * Valid driver’s license required Benefits & Perks * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) * Paid Vacation and Holidays * Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance * 401(k) after one year of service
