Outside Sales Representative

Description:

A Danko Sales Rep. will sell Fire, Rescue, and EMS equipment to Fire Departments and EMS Agencies in the designated territory, utilizing their home office. This position is specifically for all loose equipment sales.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers using your own vehicle.
• Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
• Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience as a sales representative is preferred.
• MUST have some experience in Fire and/or EMS industry.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Interpersonal Skills
• Self-Starter · Detail Oriented
• Successful working Independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Persuasive and negotiation skills · Good interpersonal and presentation skills · Basic knowledge of MS Office. Ability to operate a computer and reasonable typing skills.

Pay: $33,000 base plus $9.000 expense account plus commission and benefits. Company covers 75% of Health, Vision and Dental monthly premium cost.

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday with evening work as needed.
• Weekend Availability, minimal
