: Spare Parts Assistant: Sofidel America is a leader in the manufacturing of tissue products for domestic and hygienic use. Our state-of-the-art facility is an essential part of our operations, featuring advanced technologies, multiple converting lines, and a dedicated team producing premium tissue products for major retailers. We are seeking a Spare Part Asst . to join our team in Elwood, IL. That will be able to perform duties to monitor the accuracy of equipment, parts inventory, support of the plant operational and maintenance activities, and assist maintenance with parts identification, working within the limits of standard accepted practice. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manages activities regarding the purchase of plant-related goods and services and guarantees that policies and procedures are correctly applied.
• Collaborate with pertinent technical staff in purchasing complementary products and spare parts.
• Collaborates with the Accounting office on problems regarding the billing of purchased goods/services.
• Promotes a safety-focused corporate culture.
• Promotes Company Principles and Values.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred experience in SAP.
• Possess excellent computer skills.
• Must have advanced Excel experience with the ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets.

Shift Schedule: This position will be a Monday-Friday shift, 6 am to 2:30 pm, and some overtime may be required. Pay Rate: Level 2 $25.20 Why Join Us?
