Receptionist - Job Description

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors, providing professional and courteous customer service while supporting daily office operations. This role is responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment, managing front desk activities, and assisting with administrative functions to ensure efficient office operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional manner.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Coordinate visitor access and maintain visitor logs as required.
• Schedule conference rooms and assist with meeting preparations.
• Order and maintain office supplies and inventory.
• Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, and document management.
• Support office events, meetings, and special projects as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address office-related needs and inquiries.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset.

Schedule: The position will follow a standard business schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Employment Type: This role is intended to be contract-to-hire, contingent upon performance and business needs.
