This 13-week travel nursing role offers hands-on exposure to an 18-bed critical care unit blending ICU and step-down care, giving you the chance to expand your clinical expertise alongside a devoted core team. Schedule & Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly (option for 48 hours upon request)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Start: 6/15
• No on-call required

What We’re Looking For:

• Active IL RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required upon submission)
• At least 2 years’ recent ICU experience (3 preferred) and 1 prior travel assignment
• Strong neuro assessment, NIHSS, dysphagia screen, and EKG/telemetry interpretation skills
• Experience with ETT/vent management, sepsis care, advanced drips, and post-ROSC hypothermia protocol
• Preferred: tPa administration, massive transfusion (Belmont system)
• Resilient, adaptable nurses with exceptional clinical judgment and strong communication skills
• Navy blue scrubs required

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage ICU and step-down patients (ICU ratio 2:1, stepdown 3:1)
• Float to step-down care if needed
• Initiate and titrate critical medications and protocols
• Collaborate with a supportive, experienced team
• Deliver high-quality care based on evidence-backed best practices
