Medical Equipment Coordinator
Scope
The Medical Equipment Project Coordinator will work closely with a team of experienced medical equipment planners and consultants to provide medical equipment solutions and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes. Primary responsibilities will include aiding all members of the Medical Equipment Planning team coordinating work to ensure schedules, quality, and standards are met. This position will be expected to work within the project’s monetary budget as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct an equipment assessment or inventory of existing medical equipment assess for potential reuse as part of a two or more-person team
- Assist with documenting design decisions and instructions from clients while monitoring project design progress
- Analyze lower complexity design tasks and propose innovative solutions. Collaborate with medical equipment planners to develop practical and efficient solutions
- Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards and client requirements
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Medical Equipment. Contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals
- Ability to create standard deliverables including Cost Estimate, MEQ Book, Project Memos, Narratives, and Letters with accurate formatting, proper grammar, and spelling
- Conduct an equipment assessment or inventory of existing medical equipment assess for potential reuse as part of a two or more-person team
- Able make updates in MEQ database from meeting notes provided by others with set deadline
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
- Knowledge of industry standard medical equipment software and tools including 4Tower, Attainia, and Bluebeam
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
- Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Associates degree, or certificate, preferred
- No experience required, but prior experience in the medical equipment consulting industry preferred
- Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull
- Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises

Salary Range $62 , 000 - $ 76 , 000 . Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
