The Personal Trainer supports Graham Health System Wellness Program by designing and delivering safe, effective, and individualized fitness programs for employees, patients, and/or community members. This role promotes physical activity, injury prevention, and overall well-being while aligning with the health system’s mission of improving health outcomes and fostering a culture of wellness.

Position Qualifications:

Good understanding of all facets of wellness (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial)

Experience working with diverse populations (beginners, seniors, athletes, rehab/post-rehab, weight loss, etc.)

Strong ability to lead, coach, and teach individuals, as well as groups

Ability to motivate others

Strong interpersonal skills

Evidenced organizational skills

Required Certifications:

BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross required (acceptable to be obtained after hire)

Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent)

Specialty Certifications preferred (e.g., corrective exercise, strength & conditioning, prenatal/postnatal)
