Subject: Snowflake Architect in Chicago IL

• This role will be part of the Snowflake delivery team in Chicago. They have like 5 plus resources in US as well as around 20 plus resources in India.
• They support the Snowflake initiatives within Caterpillar Cat digital specifically. So we are looking for an integration architect or a snowflake architect.
• very familiar in Snowflake as well as in AWS because the data set that we invoke that we are processing, it's coming from AWS and then we are processing it in a snowflake. So we are looking for somebody who has talent in both space.
• The resource should be a strong certified resource. They have been using Snowflake as well as AWS for the last five to six years.
• They do quite a bit of research on Snowflake as well as an AWS. So this engineer will get a chance to work on all those things trying to explore new services.
• One the location for this will be Chicago and Peoria because of the rest of the team.
• Apart from that strong experience in SQL tuning, strong experience in AWS, well architected framework, especially doing a lot of optimizations in snowflake, you know we built quite a bit of databases. We have like 50 plus databases.
• Certifications are needed. Will consider folks who has it. Any CAT exp will be good.

Top skills:

• Exp MS Office suite.
• 3+ years Snowflake Architect level experience ( Production Grade ): ie previous titles like Data Analytics Architect or Principle Engineer.
• 5+ AWS Cloud exp ( Production Grade)
• 3+ Implementations in snowflake and understand the advanced capabilities like ML Model deployment etc. Snowflake Optimization experience ( Auto clustering , Warehouse, Query plan ) etc.
• SQL performance tuning
• Exp with AWS well architected framework.

Education:

• Bachelors with 10 yrs.
• Masters with 8 yrs.

Interview:

• Teams with Camera On.
• 1 round of interview.
• STAR mostly.
• Behaviors & technical questions too.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
