Gastroenterologist
Overview
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join a collaborative and patient-focused healthcare team. This is a full-time, employed opportunity offering a strong work-life balance and the ability to practice in both ambulatory and hospital settings. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions, along with proficiency in endoscopic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders and conditions
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, in both ambulatory surgery center and hospital settings
- Conduct patient consultations to understand symptoms, medical history, and overall health concerns
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
- Analyze patient medical histories and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Proven proficiency in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

COMPENSATION:
In compliance with New York pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this position is $500,000–$600,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
