Join AREA WIDE WATERPROOFING INC as a Jr. Estimator in Mokena, IL, where you'll play a critical role in our project planning and cost analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the construction industry with a company dedicated to quality and innovation. Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for waterproofing projects.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to gather necessary data.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
- Maintain organized records of estimates and project documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive estimates.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prior internship or experience in construction estimating is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
