What You'll Do:

Represent Key Clients: Serve as a trusted advisor to lenders and creditors in bankruptcy cases, asset-based lending, foreclosures, and debtor-in-possession financing.
Navigate Complex Legal Landscapes: Handle Illinois commercial mortgage foreclosure, forbearance, receivership law, and UCC Article 9 remedies.
Engage in Diverse Transactions: Work on investor representation, financial sponsor transactions, exchange offers, debt-for-equity swaps, and bankruptcy litigation.
Build Strong Relationships: Interact with and build lasting relationships with clients.
What We're Looking For:

Extensive Experience: Significant experience representing creditors, secured lenders, and asset purchasers in workouts, restructurings, and business reorganizations.
Deep Legal Knowledge: Expertise in bankruptcy cases, asset-based lending, and Illinois commercial law.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Business Acumen: A degree or background in business or finance (a plus).
Illinois Licensing: Current Illinois license or eligibility for comity/waiver, or willingness to sit for the IL bar exam.
Portable Book of Business: Required.
