Associate Veterinarian

Full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian opening at Elmwood Grove Animal Hospital located in River Grove, a near-west suburb of Chicago. Currently offering up to $15,000 in sign on bonus!

Elmwood Grove Animal Hospital is looking to add a 5th doctor to our team. If you are interested in performing surgery, dentistry, or have an interest in expanding your skills, this is the position for you!

Our team is looking for a Veterinarian who has excellent communication skills, likes to work collaboratively, builds rapport easily with clients and enjoys working in a diverse environment. We have a helpful, happy, and friendly team that approaches veterinary medicine with professionalism and a sense of humor. We encourage our doctors to have a work/life balance and as such we are closed Sundays, major holidays and there are no after-hour emergencies.

Our senior doctor is a Diplomate of the ABVP and promotes a culture of communicating about interesting cases, practicing progressive medicine and offering great client education. If gaining exposure to more advanced surgeries is of interest, you will definitely have the opportunity to learn and eventually do surgeries such as ex-cap CCL, FHO, TTA, thoracic, brachycephalic correction, and laryngeal paralysis. He and a senior associate are past presidents of the Chicago VMA.

For new graduates, this position will be included in the NVA Illinois Mentorship Program. In this program, our ADVMs will have access to:

• One on one surgical and medical support from dedicated mentor
• Suite of wellness programming focusing on stress management and cultivating a balanced approach to your life
• Cohort of other new graduate ADVMs in Illinois with planned social events, team bonding, and engagement, regardless of current clinic worked in
