Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Must hold a valid state license Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: - Previous charge experience: 2 years preferred - Patient ratio experience: 4 patients per nurse - Charting system experience: Preferred experience with EPIC Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The position requires working night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for caring for patients in a high-pressure environment. Candidates must be comfortable with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The average daily census is 85 visits, with a typical patient ratio of 4. The role involves managing a variety of patient presentations, including trauma cases and psychiatric emergencies. Special procedures and equipment utilized include vocera devices for communication. Candidates must have strong skills in blood product administration, dysrhythmia management, and triage. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The facility offers a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment.
