BOOKKEEPER
P ay: $50,000 annually
Shifts: 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Addison, IL
Type: Temp to Hire
Requirements: Resume / Interview / Authorization to work in the U.S./ BG Check/ DT-9 Panel
Our client is a leader in precision grinding, lapping and honing and has been for almost 50 years thanks in large part to the great people on our team. Several employees have been with us since our founding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping in an accurate and timely manner utilizing ERP software
- Responding promptly to customer and vendor inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and warmth
- Generates shipping paperwork, arranges LTL shipments
- Completing documentation for new vendors, onboarding new customers
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Experience as a bookkeeper in a manufacturing company
- A people person who enjoys speaking with customers, vendors, answering questions and providing support as needed
- Comfortable, confident and successful making delinquent AR phone calls
- Attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
- Team player that effectively handles deadlines and multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills since this person will be interacting with customers and vendors
- Competent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite. ERP (preferably M1) experience is preferred
