Elgin Recycling is a family owned recycling business that has been in business for over 30 years. We recycle metals and electronics, as well as some paper and plastic recycling. We have four locations open to the public for drop offs, as well as a fleet of trucks for pickup of industrial sized loads of material. Check out our Company at

Open Driver Position:

We are currently looking for a CDL-A Truck Driver for a Full Time position with our Company. All drivers are based out of Gilberts, Illinois. MUST have a valid Class A CDL with No Manual Transmission Restrictions.

Primary Job Duties:

• Industrial / Commercial pickups of materials throughout the Chicago-land area
• Transporting materials between job sites and between our facilities
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Work in all types of vehicles (Box truck, roll off, semi, etc.). Flatbed and roll off experience a plus!
• Pre-trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections
• Following all safety procedures and polices

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to drive manual transmission
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Excellent Safety Record
• Punctual
• Friendly / Likes to work with people / Team Player
• Hardworking
• Trustworthy / Honest / Dependable
• Bi-lingual is a plus but candidate must be able to speak and write English fluently
