Junior Event Coordinator

To strengthen our Marketing team, we are looking for a

Junior Event Coordinator

based in Chicago, Illinois.

You will closely work with the Marketing team and report to the Event Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events (Farming Simulator League and others)
• Ensure events meet visitor expectations, time and budget limits, and plan or allocate resources needed for their execution
• Oversee facilities and details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc.

What qualifications and skills do we expect from you?

• Knowledge of the basic parts of and operation techniques for lighting, sound and video equipment
• Ability to move heavy objects from one location to another
• Problem-solving ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment
• Interpersonal skills to interact positively with crew members, vendors and audience members
• Ability to use tools needed to build and strike sets
• Strong oral communication skills to work with other crew members
• Understanding of on-set and stage safety precautions
• Organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Handling issues and troubleshooting any emerging problems in stressful situations
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to travel to be on-site at events

What would be a plus?

• At least 2 years’ experience in esports events
• Deep knowledge of Farming Simulator
• Passion for video games and enthusiastic gaming
• Background in farming, work in a farming-related company, or strong interest in farming and agriculture
