The Product Management Intern will support the US Consumer Product Management team by assisting with day‑to‑day product management activities and strategic projects. This role is designed to provide hands‑on exposure to the end‑to‑end product lifecycle within a consumer goods organization. The intern will collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, sales, finance, packaging, IP, compliance, and marketing teams while developing analytical, communication, and project management skills aligned with their academic studies.

Key Responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for supporting a variety of product management initiatives, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with day‑to‑day requests from Product Management and National Account Managers, including gathering product specifications, samples, and cross‑functional information from engineering, sales, finance, packaging, IP, and compliance teams
• Supporting the line review process by creating and analyzing sales reports and performance data
• Partnering with the Industry Research Specialist to help develop and maintain dashboards highlighting relevant industry trends across clipper, trimmer, pet, and massage categories
• Reviewing and documenting key account product listings and store plan‑o‑grams (current and historical), and helping create an organized process for sales and marketing teams to review and retrieve these materials
• Assisting with research activities such as survey creation, report documentation, and analysis related to product, packaging, pricing logic, and segmentation
• Generating new product release notifications using Adobe Illustrator
• Supporting new product introductions, obsolete product management, and product change processes within D365
• Completing additional projects and assignments as directed by the supervisor

This internship is designed to provide meaningful, degree‑relevant experience. The intern will:

• Refine written and verbal communication skills through cross‑functional collaboration and documentation
• Learn how to manage projects from start to finish within a product management environment
• Develop analytical skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SurveyReports, and other reporting platforms
• Gain hands‑on experience with Adobe Illustrator, Product Information Management (PIM) systems, D365, and JIRA
• Build foundational knowledge of retail and marketing strategy within consumer goods
• Gain exposure to consumer product categories including clippers, trimmers, massagers, and pet products
• Have opportunities to contribute to larger projects as skills and confidence grow

Qualifications

Required

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Product Management, Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
• Completed at least one year of college
• Strong interest in consumer products and product lifecycle management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; comfort working with data and reports
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with or interest in Power BI, Adobe Illustrator, or survey/reporting tools
• Familiarity with product data systems (PIM, D365, JIRA) or willingness to learn
• Interest in retail, marketing strategy, or consumer goods industries
