The average daily census is 22 patients. Candidates will work three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. Floating to other units within scope may be required. Preference for candidates who have experience with telemetry and remote monitoring. Skills in colostomy care, feeding tube management, and pre/post hemodialysis are essential. Candidates must have experience with blood product administration, PICC line management, and starting IVs. Neurological skills including management of spinal cord injuries and post-operative care are required. Candidates should be proficient in non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration. Knowledge of wound care management and isolation precautions is necessary. Experience in managing complex surgical patients is preferred. The patient population primarily includes adults, with a focus on post-operative bariatric and plastic surgery patients. RNs will develop skills in various bedside procedures and interdisciplinary care planning. This role provides opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment.
