We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our Schaumburg-based team. This is an in-office position. This would normally be a full-time position; however, we are open to discussing a work schedule with somewhat fewer hours to accommodate the needs, family life for example, of the candidate. This is a great opportunity for a creative professional with a strong interest in technical and industrial marketing. You will play a key role in promoting our advanced engineering products, significantly contributing towards sales generation, and elevating the Carl Hirschmann brand in North America. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with German and US management and external vendors to independently execute marketing campaigns in accordance with the company’s established branding
- Collecting customer data and analytics; creating and maintaining contact lists within Sage CRM to drive/increase sales
- First contact / lead generation calls to drive/increase sales
- Developing and maintaining marketing materials such as advertisements, brochures, product sheets, email campaigns, and presentations
- Coordinating trade show and customer open house presence, logistics, promotional materials, and event support
- Managing digital marketing initiatives (e.g., suggested website updates, social media, email marketing & analytical tools)
- Supporting content creation for blog/social posts, case studies, and customer success stories
- Analyzing campaign performance and industry trends and sharing data with sales teams
- Assisting with customer communications and brand consistency across platforms
- Willingness to support the team with other responsibilities based on your strengths and to continuously build new capabilities
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or 3+ years of experience in a marketing role (industrial/manufacturing preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with email marketing platforms; familiarity with MailChimp preferred
- Knowledgeable in commercial CRM software; experience with Sage CRM a plus
- Experience managing social media accounts such as LinkedIn and Facebook
- Familiarity with graphic arts software programs, especially Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
- Familiarity with photography and video editing a plus
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
- A polished professional who is ambitious, creative, committed, and passionate
- Comfortable working in a small team and cross-functional environment
