3rd: 12:20am - 8:30am

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Assembly Operators who will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process from start to finish, ensuring the safety and quality of the products produced. The role involves monitoring multiple high-speed automated production machines to maintain quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the total production process through the finished goods stage.
• Ensure product safety and quality of goods produced.
• Monitor multiple high-speed automated production machines to achieve quality production standards.
• Verify the correctness of components and perform quality checks using visual inspection and inspection gauges.
• Perform testing on assembled products and fill machine hoppers.
• Maintain accurate records using various production forms and a PC.
• Load and thread tubing onto machines and utilize handheld scanners for traceability.
• Lift/move up to 25 lbs and reach above shoulder (approximately 5% of shift time).
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate and understand relevant information relating to quality and production issues.
• Possess basic math and PC skills.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Tenure of 2+ years at the same company.
• Basic PC and math skills for order and computer entry.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for communication and understanding of quality and production issues.
• Wearing steel toe shoes is required (company reimbursement eligible after full-time hire).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
