Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Driver Patrol Operations in Bloomington, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring a people-first mindset, strong communication, and a commitment to teamwork, reliability, and integrity in a dynamic environment.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with management and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or security-related issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, observe building activity, and help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or disturbances through visible presence and professional interaction.
- Support property operations by reporting hazards, assisting with directional questions, and communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, and/or site contacts regarding security-related procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
