Regional Terminal Network Manager  EHS, Quality & CAPEX (Midwest)

Quick facts

• Scope: Terminals in Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH; Niagara Falls, Canada; plus Whiting, IN transfer facility
• Base: Home-based in Chicago, Northern Ohio, or Northern Indiana
• Travel: ~50%
• Reports to: Plant Manager

What you will do

• 35% Operations/Maintenance/CAPEX
  • Lead daily terminal operations: railcar unloading, truck loading, and maintenance.
  • Approve spend; update SOPs; train employees; oversee nonstandard maintenance.
  • Develop and manage CAPEX across Chicago, Cleveland, and Niagara; drive continuous improvement.
• 20% EHS Leadership
  • Act as management representative for RC14001.
  • Ensure timely incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Close out IMS action items on schedule.
• 15% Quality & Audits
  • Represent sites during regulatory, customer, and ISO 9001 audits.
  • Resource and support quality investigations and corrective actions.
• 10% Commercial Alignment
  • Join planning meetings with Sales/Marketing.
  • Maintain a living production/shipping plan aligned to business demand.
  • Engage with customers as needed.
• 10% Performance Reporting
  • Prepare and present reports on production, spend, reliability, EHS, and CAPEX.
• 10% Planning
  • Build annual production plans; outage plans; capital and periodic spending plans.

What you need to succeed

• Experience in chemical or heavy industrial manufacturing is required (chemical, pulp & paper, refinery, steel, etc.).
• 5+ years in a related leadership role; union plant background preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Self-directed, decisive, and comfortable working independently.
• Proximity to one of the facilities and willingness to travel ~50%.

Compensation:$110,000 - $120,000.00 base salary + bonus, + benefits (salaried, exempt)
