RN / Registered Nurse - Corrections

Now hiring a qualified RN / Registered Nurse with correctional or related nursing experience!

RN Pay:

• $2,218 weekly gross working 36 hours
• Plus, travel bonus to assignment
• Local pay packages also available
• Weekly Direct Deposit every Friday
• W2 position with benefits Available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K

Schedule and Timeline:

• Now hiring for ASAP start dates.
• Quick feedback and expedited credentialing process with in-house experts.
• 13-week direct contract with extension options.
• 36 hours per week with potential to pick up overtime.
• 3 x 12-hour shifts.

Corrections RN Job Details:

• Provide healthcare services to inmates.
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations
• Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients in critical situations.
• Educate inmates about health issues, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall well-being.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the correctional facility.
• Treat inmates for chronic health issues, trauma, infection, and substance abuse.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
• Collaborate with correctional staff to address security concerns while delivering patient care.

Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Qualifications:

• 1+ year of corrections, psych or related experience.
• IL RN License in good standing.
• Active BLS
• Clean background check upon hire.
