OverviewAs a Senior Financial Analyst on Gallagher’s Global Data & Analytics team, you’ll play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions. This role focuses on financial and operational analysis, reporting, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve performance visibility—particularly across reinsurance-related metrics and broader business trends.
How you'll make an impactWhat You’ll Do
- Analyze financial and operational data from the global data warehouse to evaluate business performance, profitability, and risk/volatility
- Build, refine, and validate key metrics, with a focus on reinsurance and performance insights
- Develop and enhance reports and dashboards; identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities
- Conduct variance and root-cause analysis to explain performance and provide forward-looking insights
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
- Perform market research and benchmarking using industry trends, economic data, and competitor insights
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand priorities and proactively identify analytical opportunities
- Collaborate with IT (onshore and offshore) to automate reporting and improve data solutions
- Deliver accurate, timely analyses and respond to ad hoc requests as needed
- Act as a trusted thought partner to leadership on financial and performance insights
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience (insurance, brokerage, or financial services preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI (Sigma experience a plus)
- Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake
- Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences
Preferred:
- Experience with Tableau or Qlik
- Experience with SQL, PowerPivot, or other big data tools
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
