`As an Assistant Construction Project Administrator, you will provide high support to the project staff to ensure quality and timely execution of design/build projects from design to completion. These phases include scheduling, buyout, cost reporting, the handling of coordination, construction quality oversight, and project closeout. You will run smaller projects on your own, and take on the additional responsibilities to become a Project Manager.

The Specifics of the Role

· Overseeing and directing multiple projects from start to finish

· Assess project progress, schedule, changes, deliveries, and pay requests

· Meet weekly and communicate daily with the construction staff

· Assist PM and Field Supervision to ensure installation occurs correctly. Take initiative to minimize systems re-work

· Utilize Project Documentation plan to manage and track Submittals, RFIs, Current Project Specifications, and Current Project Plans

· Review and process returned documentation for Scope Compliance, and distribute to the relevant project team

· Participate with the project team in preconstruction activities

· Maintain an understanding of the contract

· Review project Productions and Cost Reports weekly

· Monitor project labor

· Implement applicable safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action programs

· Participate in the project’s quality control process

· Contribute to schedule and project close-out processes

Required

· 3+ years of experience

· Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology

· Ability to walk a job site, climb ladders, and scale multi-floor scaffolding

· Ability to lift objects of at least 50 lbs.
