Business intelligence developer - oracle health
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join the Oracle Health Government Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making for our government clients. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, and ensuring compliance with business and government regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy business intelligence solutions using Oracle technologies (e.g., Oracle BI, OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud).

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs for reporting and analytics.

Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights to government clients.

Ensure all solutions comply with government regulations, standards, and security protocols.

Perform data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration tasks.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to business intelligence tools and data reporting.

Provide training and support to end-users on the use of business intelligence tools and reports.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence development, preferably with Oracle BI tools (e.g., OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Proficiency in Oracle BI tools (OBIEE, Oracle Analytics Cloud).

Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.

Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and data warehousing concepts.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to interpret complex data sets and create meaningful reports.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Experience in providing training and support to end-users.

Compliance:

Knowledge of government regulations and standards related to data security and privacy.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
