Molder Operator
Location: South Holland, IL
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour base hourly guarantee + piecework (earn more based on production), 30 mins lunch (unpaid) and two 10 min breaks (paid)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift - 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Assignment Type: Temp to hire
Requirements: Resume/Interview/Authorized to work in the U.S.
Position Overview
Our client is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals for a Molding Operator position. This role involves operating air and hydraulic presses to shape small abrasive products while maintaining consistent quality standards. This is a piecework-based position with strong earning potential for productive employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate air and hydraulic presses to mold small abrasive products
- Monitor production to ensure parts meet size and quality specifications
- Perform periodic measurements to maintain consistency and accuracy
- Maintain a steady workflow to maximize production output
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Requirements
- Basic measuring skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
- Good hand-eye coordination
