Customer Service Associate

Job Description
The Customer Service Associate receives and responds primarily to Call Center inbound calls, inquiries,
service requests and complaints, which may require research, investigation, and collaboration with operations
team to reach resolution; also delivers superior customer service in a prompt, respectful and courteous manner
to ensure that customer concerns are resolved and that they received an elite customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications - High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and Computer Skills.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service consistently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Organization & Communication skills
- Excellent Attention to Detail and Data Entry, a Plus!
- Inside Sales & Customer Retention Experience, a Plus!
- Industry knowledge, a Plus!
- Will train the right candidate.
Principal Responsibilities
- Effectively and primarily respond to Residential, Commercial and Roll-Off inbound calls,
regarding any inquiries related to new and existing service, create and print work-orders, billing,
missed pick-up’s, cancellation requests, service changes, retention, extra pick-up’s, pricing
disputes, contractual stipulations, outbound/inbound collection-calls, service issues and
concerns. Ensures all calls are resolved and treated in a respectful, timely and professional
manner. - Data Entry of new Customer Service Agreements, including service changes and other assigned
tasks in accordance with Company policy. - Assist Sales Reps with account information inquiries and printing.
- Attend company related community events and represent SBC Waste Solutions with respect and
professionalism at all times. - Return all internal and external calls, emails and voicemails in a timely manner to ensure that
customers’ concerns are understood, addressed and resolved efficiently. - Logs information about customer service interactions into accounts/systems; updates important.
