Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that DSV's transportation and logistics services meet or exceed regulatory requirements and industry standards. They oversee the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, and work closely with other departments to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for all transportation and logistics services provided by DSV
- Monitor compliance with regulations and standards and take corrective action as necessary
- Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to safety, security, and environmental impact
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and standards and ensure that DSV remains in compliance
- Respond to compliance-related inquiries and concerns from internal and external stakeholders
Educational background / Work experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or compliance in the transportation and logistics industry
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the transportation and logistics industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes
Supervisory Responsibilities (if any)
- May supervise a team of compliance specialists or assistants
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in quality assurance or compliance (e.g. CQA, CQE, CCEP)
- Familiarity with relevant software and technology tools (e.g. transportation management systems, compliance tracking software)
Language skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software and technology tools.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $62,500 - $73,500 / Annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
