Leasing Assistant
Location: South Side of Chicago, IL
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Leasing Assistant to join our growing property management team. This position plays an important role in supporting the leasing process and providing excellent service to prospective and new residents across our portfolio of apartment buildings.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in.
- Schedule and coordinate apartment showings.
- Communicate with prospective residents and answer questions.
- Follow up with applicants and assist with the application process.
- Coordinate lease signings and move-in appointments.
- Manage keys, lockboxes, and unit access.
- Maintain accurate leasing records and update company systems.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other team members to ensure apartments are ready for showings and move-ins.
- Provide excellent customer service and administrative support.
- Perform other leasing and office-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, customer service, hospitality, or an office environment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Compensation
