Procurement Analyst
We're looking for a Procurement analyst in the Chicago area. This role will support our strategic sourcing and procurement operations teams for direct materials across all TreeHouse Foods businesses. You will play a vital role in enhancing supplier performance, monitoring market risks, and identifying cost-saving opportunities that strengthen our supply chain resilience. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in category management while working closely with industry experts.
salary: $35 - $38 per hourshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of the categories and markets they support, the businesses they service,and suppliers they partner with.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier performance metrics.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership to support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Maintain new and existing supplier info and contracts.
- Support procurement managers with detailed spend analysis by category, supplier, and business.
- Monitor supplier KPIs such as on-time delivery, pricing accuracy, quality performance, and contract compliance.
- Maintain supplier scorecards and escalate issues or risks based on data-driven insights.
- Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and recommend solutions to improve automation, accuracy, or cycle time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement procurement best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain data integrity within supplier records, contracts, and master data attributes.
- Contribute to system enhancements by gathering business requirements and supporting testing activities.
- Support compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and SOX controls as applicable.
- Conduct market analysis to assess pricing trends, supply chain risks, and potential new suppliers.
