Title : Accounting Specialist

Location : Naperville, IL

Assignment Type:  3- month contract with potential for conversion

Compensation : $28 - $30/ Hour depending on relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payment processing, and collections follow-up
• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and vendor/customer accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for all transactions
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account balances
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations

Requirements:

• 3 + years' of experience working in Accounting
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, etc.) and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
