Apprentice Plumber

This position is for an Apprentice Plumber who holds an active license in the state of Illinois. You will work under the supervision of a foreman or superintendent, primarily focusing on new build residential and commercial projects in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The job sites will vary as projects are completed, covering areas as far south as Aurora, up to Wisconsin, as far west as DeKalb, and as east as Chicago. Efforts will be made to assign you to locations close to your residence, but flexibility is required as this cannot always be guaranteed. Typically, you will be engaged in projects for weeks or months at a time.

• Work on new builds inside structures, running lines from the ground through the building to connect sinks, showers, and hose lines.
• Ensure all plumbing installations are completed according to specifications and building codes.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
• Provide your own wrenches and basic hand tools; special equipment will be provided by the company.

• Active Apprentice Card for the State of Illinois
• Experience in commercial or residential construction

• New build residential experience
• New build commercial experience
• Experience with PVC, pipe installation, and pipe fitting
• Active Apprentice Card for Chicago will also be accepted
• Inactive Apprentice Card within 3 years for easy sponsorship and reactivation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Grange, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
