About the Position
The Med-Surg RN is responsible for providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients on a general medical and surgical unit. Duties include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The RN ensures safe clinical practices, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and educates patients and families regarding conditions, treatment plans, and post-hospital care.
Requirements
Requirements:
Active RN License – State specific (or Compact license if applicable)
Minimum Experience: 1–2 years of recent Med-Surg acute care experience
Certifications: BLS required (ACLS preferred depending on facility)
