Job Description

Focuses on the integration and functional testing of complex systems within digital transformation initiatives. Analyzes system requirements to ensure they align with business goals and technical standards. Designs and implements system architectures, contributing to the optimization of system performance and scalability.

General Summary

Agile Defense is looking for an Automation Test Engineer to work on a project that will sustain a command-and-control system for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) with the CAMPS Sustainment, Operations and Maintenance Services (SOMS) contract. Your work will support the effectiveness of several communities of active-duty and civilian users. With the migration from the on-premise system to Amazon CloudOne, the program must continue to deliver stable, secure feature upgrades through new deployment methods to both sides of the equation. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will test that the user-facing side of the system is working as planned and troubleshoot any bugs that may arise with each release or support testing of fixes for customer tickets.

Duties

· Work directly with the scrum master and development team to understand the system requirements.

· Standardize and follow an automation testing process

· Assist with Scrum Team Estimation of stories and sizing of effort to include the test automation and any required changes to the DEV and TEST environments

· Work with team members in adopting and strengthening test automation techniques and development operations

· Write and review functional test cases/Testbed

· Analyze automation test results and create a corresponding report

· Assist in the creation of testing suites which will test application interfaces in a browser
